A community based writing group I founded in 2022 because I felt isolated and alone in my writing. I couldn’t find a place where people who look like me talked about writing. The only solution was to start one myself. We are based in cape Town.
Deadlines for Writers
This an online writing community with free classes and challenges as well as paid writing challenges started by Mia Botha. It’s a way to share your stories with a wider audience as members are from all over the world.
Melinda Ferguson Writes
Melinda Ferguson is a writer and editor who hosts online writing workshops. She mainly focuses on memoirs and will ask you to excavate all of your skeletons in your writing, so be ready to do some inner work if you sign up.
